| How do I turn off the dialup screech? |

1. Open the AOL Sign On screen. 2. Click the Setup button. 3. Click Expert Setup button. 4. Click Devices Tab (modems etc..). 5. Highlight the modem you want to edit (there is probably only one). 6. Click Edit. 7. In the Speaker Volume box click the down arrow and select "Off". 8. Click OK. 9. Click Close and it will be gone. |
