1. After signing on to AOL, Choose "Settings" ("My AOL" on 5.0) and click on Preferences. 2. In the Preferences menu, click on Marketing. 3. In the Marketing Preferences menu, click the Pop Up button. 4. The Pop-up Preferences dialog box launches. 5. At the bottom, check "No, I do not want to receive special AOL members-only pop-up offers." 6. Click OK. 7. Click OK when you see the "Your preference has been sent". The next time you sign on, AOL won't display the ads. |
