My computer keeps freezing. What can I do? |

Run fewer programs. In Windows Me, 98 and 95, you might have a lot of programs that run when the computer starts up. Removing programs you don't need from the Add/Remove programs utility in the control panels may help free up some system resources. Other things that can cause computers to freeze are hardware conflicts, viruses and age.
